Together with our 9th grade students and visual arts teacher, we took an artistic approach to mathematics in nature. We discovered the existence of mathematics in nature with our students. By examining the Fibonacci numbers in cones, the students calculated the golden ratios in our body and combined Fibonacci numbers with aboriginal art to create colorful visuals.
