TED Bursa College

The Turkish Education Association was established in 1928 at the behest of the founder of the modern Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who saw “the need for the private sector to perform the innovations and the necessary changes in terms of education”. Although TED Colleges are private educational establishments, the tradition set by Atatürk has continued, and all presidents of the republic since that time have taken a special interest in the various TED colleges, and their educational programme. TED has been the benchmark for education in Turkey, constantly striving for innovation and improvement. Due to the influence TED Colleges have throughout Turkey, systems and teaching methods which are initially adopted by TED schools subsequently find their way into the public school system, enabling all Turkish students to benefit from TED’s commitment to excellence.

Since its inception in 1928 the TED organization has grown to include 21 schools as TED Bursa College whose graduates have gone on to achieve great things: just as the behavior of a child reflects on his or her parents, so the achievements of a graduate can reflect on his or her school.
